Do I need an AI API key?
No. The free core of the plugin works without any AI provider. To unlock AI reasoning and better answers, enter your own API key (e.g. Gemini) in the settings.
Is there a free version?
Yes! The base chat widget with product search & cart actions is free. Pro tiers enable AI and checkout assistance and are one-time purchases.
Can I translate the bot?
The plugin uses your site's language by default. You can customise all text (welcome message, suggestions and policy snippets) in the settings.
Will this slow down my site?
No. The plugin is designed to be lightweight and WooCommerce-native. AI calls are made asynchronously via your server, keeping the front-end responsive.
